POPIA Notice

The responsible party is the registered South African company that trades as MUTI and operates mutivitamins.co.za. It is named in our Terms & Conditions.

Our Information Officer can be reached at info@mutivitamins.co.za. The Information Officer must be registered with the Information Regulator before processing begins.

We collect the information listed in our Privacy Policy, for the purposes listed there. Providing your name, contact details and delivery address is voluntary, but we cannot deliver an order without them.

We send marketing email only to people who have opted in. Section 69 of POPIA restricts direct marketing by electronic means to existing customers and to people who have consented. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

The store itself uses only strictly necessary storage: your cart and your checkout session. These do not track you.

We also use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel to measure and target our advertising. These run on every visit. We rely on our legitimate interest under section 11(1)(f) of POPIA rather than on your consent, which is why we tell you about them here instead of asking you on arrival.

Once you have given us your email address — by joining our mailing list or placing an order — we also link your visits to a one-way scrambled version of it, so that repeat visits are recognised as one person rather than counted as several. Your email address itself is never sent to Google or Meta, and the scrambled version cannot be turned back into it. The same right to object in this section applies to this, and we hold it on the same legitimate-interest basis.

Google and Meta process this information outside South Africa. Section 6 below sets out how those transfers are handled.

You may object to this processing at any time under section 11(3)(b) of POPIA by emailing info@mutivitamins.co.za, and we will stop. You can also block these tools in your browser or with an ad blocker. Either way, nothing changes about how the store works for you.

Some of our service providers process information outside South Africa. Section 72 of POPIA permits this where the recipient is subject to a law, binding rules or an agreement providing an adequate level of protection.

You may access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information by contacting info@mutivitamins.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

This version applies to orders placed from 5 September 2026. Where we change a policy, the version published here at the time of your order is the one that applies to it.
